Ingredients
- 2 ripe medium/large bananas
- 1 cup rolled oats
- ¾ cup peanut flour or any nut butter
- 1 can chick peas - (1 ½ cups drained and rinsed)
- 2 tablespoons (30g) peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons (30g) honey
- 4 tablespoons natural sweetener or sugar of choice
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
- ¼ cup (50g) semi sweet/dark chocolate chips
- ⅛ cup Reese's peanut butter chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven 200C | 390F. Spray a 8x8 inch baking pan with cooking spray and put aside.
- Throw ALL ingredients (except chocolate chips & Reese's chips) into a food processor and blend until smooth. Fold half the chocolate/Reese's chips into the batter. Pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle remaining chocolate/Reese's chips on top of bars. Bake for approx 20 minutes (depending on your oven) until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean. They are VERY moist when taken out, but they will set and firm as they cool! Don't over cook these - or they will become dry.
- Once cooled, gently cut into 16 bars.
- Yields: 16 squares/bars

I took these as a class treat. They LOVED them and I think people were hesitant to take them from me when I told them they were such low calorie desserts. They probably didn’t believe me haha. What a simple and delicious recipe! I also wanted to share on short notice that I used tapioca flour as instead of peanut flour and it worked great.

What’s the main difference in texture if I use pb2 over regular peanut butter with these? do they come out really dry?
Karina says
I use pb2 and they come out perfect! Just use equal amounts of pb2 (powder) to peanut butter and they should come out perfect Xx

I will definitely tag you in them on instagram! I follow you and love to try new recipes!!

Oh for some reason the rest of my comment wasn’t sent.. So I also wanted to say that I’m a huuuge fan of hour blog and your Instagram! I’ve already tried your Black Forest brownies and they turned out super delicious 🙂 Now I’d like to try one of your banana blondies, but I can’t decide between these Reese’s banana bread blondies, the normal banana bread blondies or you fudgy banana blondies.. They all look too good to be true! Which one is you personal favorite? ❤️

Thank you! Well…that’s a tough one! I would go with the original ones first. Then as the weeks go by, work your way up to the latest ones lol! They’re all good 😉 it’s too hard to pick one 😀
