Hi Karina, I’ve just made recently your best ever Roast Pork with never fail crackling.
Having followed your recipe to a tee this has twice turned out perfectly, Thank you.
I will never roast Pork any other way.
My question is, as we’ve never had any leftover to try. For Xmas, could I cook the Pork the day before and how best to keep the crackling to serve crisp .l will just serve the pork at room temperature?
Hey there! Love your site, I personally don’t think theres been a recipe yet that I haven’t liked – other than some with ingredients I don’t so much like.
Just a quick question – on your Facebook page, theres mention of a competition, where, apparantly; I’ve won something from you. Is this for real, or has someone hi-jacked your site? – I only ask because it seems a little like a scam, and demands a registration on a questionable site, with details of credit cards etc… Just wanted to know if this really is from you…
Regards
PH.
Hi Peter. This is definitely a scam and not us at all. My team and I have tried to report the page numerous times, but Facebook is still refusing to take it down.
Hi Karina,
Reading your Garlic Herb Butter Roast Turkey recipe which I am going to try this year, my question is on step 1 roasting the turkey at 425 degrees for a 22lb turkey would I still cook it 45 minutes breast side down or should that cook time be longer because of it’s size? I see the recipe states to roast 45 min for a larger turkey over 14 lbs yet being more on the larger size at 22 lbs I was just questioning.
Thank you for your time and cannot wait to try this recipe as it sounds delicious!
Finally, a recipe site with easy yet delicious recipes with ingredients you actually have in your house. Well done – I have been through about six other sites and found them all really ridiculous – love this one!
This is the first time I have reached out to a blogger, but I just had to because YOUR RECIPES ARE AMAZING. I would totally purchase a cookbook if you ever decide to publish one. And your life story is inspiring. Rock on, lady!
Hello Karina!
I am so excited to have found you and your recipes! Your strength and determination are genuinely inspiring to someone who has depression and anxiety is struggling through the pandemic in addition to so much change in the last 6 months. My oldest, 28, moved to her own place in August. My youngest, 19 y.o., went away to university in August. My middle, 20. y.o. (adopted from South Korea : ) ), is going away for her 2 last years of university in January. I’m so very proud of and so happy for my children; yet, the change is still difficult for me. I am a 56 y.o. single (divorced) woman who loves having her children around her. I’ve been divorced for almost 13 years.
The battle of trying to figure out what I am going to cook for my middle daughter and I is pretty much gone. In addition, when my son comes home for Thanksgiving (my favorite holiday!) and stays through mid-January, I am not worried about what to prepare for dinners! He is a picky one to cook for and with the beautiful varieties you offer, I am all set.
In addition, the portions calculate for even 1 person so I’ll be able to make some decent dinners for myself! I look forward to trying many of your recipes!
Again, my deepest thanks to you for telling us about yourself, your struggles and all you do.
Not only are your recipes delish, this Paris poet says they are wonderfully well written. To get us through this winter, here’s to Cafรฉ Delites days, trays, and plentiful graze.
Hello, Karina,
I am writing to thank you from Turkey. With your help I’ve been able to prepare dinners that have now graduated from edible to delicious. There’s so much work invested in this website, so much precious labor and time. You have entered into my life just when I felt I lost my sense of taste and cooking bore me so. Thank you again for your wonderful recipes and wish you the best.

Hi Karina. You mentioned that your dad was born and raised in Uruguay. By any chance, do you have any traditional recipes from Uruguay that you can share? Most I find online are written in Spanish. I was born and raised there as well but moved to America as a child and prefer recipes in English. TIA
Karina! You are so talented. I made three of your recipes last week, and I just can’t stop coming back for more. Thank you for all the wonderful hard work you do. I’ve got my mom using Cafe Delites now too, and I keep spreading the good word. Best to you!!!
