  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Notes

The Caramel sauce is best eaten straight after cooling, however, you can store it in the refrigerator and simply reheat over stove top when you need it.
