Jam Donut Inspired French Toast!

- FRENCH TOAST:
- 4 slices of bread
- 1 egg
- 1/2 C liquid egg whites
- 1/4 C unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon sweetener/sugar of choice
- COATING:
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon sugar
- 1 teaspoon granulated sweetener/sugar of choice
- SYRUP:
- 100 g cleaned and hulled strawberries
- 1 tablespoon granulated sweetener/sugar of choice
- 4 tablespoons water (for blending)
Directions: Beat the egg and egg whites with the milk, extracts, cinnamon and sweetener/sugar in a wide shallow bowl. Soak the bread slices in the mix. Heat spray oil in a frying pan/skillet (I use coconut spray oil) Fry the egg-soaked bread until golden on both sides.
COAT: Put the cinnamon and sugar mix onto a plate and press French Toasts down until coated like a sugared doughnut.
SYRUP: Cook combined strawberries, sweetener and water on a low simmer until strawberries are soft. Pour into a bullet cup/blender and BLEND!
Drizzle alllll over your Donut French Toasts!!
