Garlic & Paprika Oven Baked Chicken Nuggets

Ingredients

  • 1 whole egg
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic seasoning (or garlic powder)
  • 1/2 tablespoon mild ground paprika
  • Sea salt to season
  • 500 g | 1lbs chicken breast , cubed into nugget sizes (2-inch x 2-inch)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or crumbs of choice (ground oats, almond meal, cornflake crumbs etc)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven 200c | 390f. Prepare an oven tray with parchment/baking paper, and set aside.
  • Combine eggs, garlic seasoning, paprika and salt in a medium sized bowl and whisk well. Add in chicken and mix to coat well until all chicken pieces are fully covered.
  • Pour breadcrumbs onto a separate plate, and dip chicken pieces one at a time into breadcrumbs. Coat well and place onto tray. Repeat with all chicken pieces.
  • Spray with coconut oil spray (or any cooking oil spray of choice).
  • Bake in the oven for 20 - 30 minutes, turning once halfway, until cooked through.
